Advanced Brow Technician (Ombre) Training
This course is designed for Microblading Technicians who wish to progress to working with a SPMU Machine as well as already trained SPMU Technicians. You will learn how to do Ombre, hair strokes and powder brows with this technique and reach a new client group who would rather have machine work than microblading. You will also learn how to combine the two techniques for maximum impact.
Terminology: Whether you call it micropigmentation training, semi-permanent make-up training or SPMU training, these terms all refer to a cosmetic tattooing course. Microblading training is a course for tattooing brows without the use of a machine..
About Your Course:
This course is very hands on and models are provided for you. Once successfully completed you will be able to progress on to eyeliner and lipliner at your own pace and as demand grows in your studio, but on this course, we concentrate on brows only.
You should have undertaken training in Microblading and hold a certificate and insurance to work. We will need to see evidence of this before booking training for you. Ideally you should have at least 6 months experience before you take this upgrade class.
- Small classes of 3 students max.
- 1 Day intense course.
- You will need to complete a minimum of 5 case studies and email the before and after photos to your trainer for feedback.
- Once your case studies have been completed your certificates will be issued.
- You will work on skins and will need to supply 2 models for the afternoon.

– Skin types, tones and pigment colour choices - Getting to know your machine.
- Understanding needle choices.
- Measuring the brows
- Managing client’s expectations
- Marketing and menu planning
